What if we stopped and cared for people? Today I saw a poor man asking a much wealthier man for some food and the wealthy man didn’t even look at the poor guy asking. To be honest I’ve done the same, I’ve past people on the streets who are hungry, tired, hopeless, longing for love. It can be so easy to just walk on by instead of stopping and actually caring for people. When I saw that poor man being treated like he didn’t even exist, I stopped. I asked if he like something to eat and took him into the nearby store. If I hadn’t seen the poor man be turned down I likely wouldn’t have stopped, it’s interesting how God gets my attention. I want to stop every time, for every person. I want to care. I want to love. I want to be poured out. Let’s tear down our walls and pop our bubbles. It’s time to stop. Stop for the one. Listen to them, care for them, love them, and show them Christ!
